“Taormina Train”

We traveled by train from Rome to see the southwest coast of Italy and venture in to Sicily for a few days.  We expected the breathtaking show along the coast, but were surprised with a show of engineering genius at the tip of the boot. When the train meets the water, it is broken into pieces, and then loaded onto a ferry.  On the far side, in Messina, the inverse happens. Here is Cindy, at the end of our Sicily adventure, waiting for the train back to Italy. The station was endearingly quaint and the light was so perfect on my angel.
